Post-tournament: It was a great tournament! The teams had a great day, the level of competition was high, and eight more teams are headed for the Massachusetts state championship! Pre-tournament: 2008 FIRST LEGO League Robotics CompetitionDecember 13, 2008 at the Clay Center at the Dexter and Southfield Schools 20 Newton Street, Brookline, Massachusetts Twenty-Eight teams of students ages 9-14 have been preparing their robots and studying the effects of global warming since September. Watch the robots compete head-to-head to see which teams will go on to the Massachusetts State Finals! Attendance is Free and OPEN to the PUBLIC When arriving, please follow the signs to “event parking” and obey instructions of parking assistants. Enter the Clay Center through the main entrance. Open tournament competition runs from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.Sweet Sixteen final elimination rounds begin at 1:00 p.m.Come to learn more about FIRST LEGO League, view the poster presentations on global warming, or just to cheer on the students!
