Who:    Any High School aged students interested in a technical and creative challenge!

"Aged-out" members of FIRST LEGO league teams (keep your team together!)

Junior members of FIRST Robotics Challenge teams (a challenge that belongs to you!)

Interested students with no previous FIRST experience (join for the challenge and the fun!)

What:    A technically-oriented challenge that integrates the use of many skills into a very rewarding robotics competition.  Mechanical, electrical and computer engineering meets fund-raising, marketing, graphics and organizational skills to challenge students with wide-ranging interests.

When:    The season starts in mid-September, with local competitions from December through March, and Atlanta in May.

Where:    FIRST Vex Challenge teams can be based in schools, community organizations or totally stand-alone.  The costs are modest, the equipment is available to all, and competitions occur all over North America.  Top teams can join some of the most talented teams in the world at the International competition in Atlanta!
