Sharon FVC teams visited the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, hosted
by an incredible group of Olin students who are involved in mentoring FIRST
teams. The Sharon AngelBots (FVC 44), Myotonics (FVC 78) and Unlimited
(FVC 13) presented their robots, and their experiences in the FIRST Vex
Challenge Half-Pipe Hustle season to date. After discussing the challenge
and getting invaluable advice, the teams got to tour a number of lab areas in
the Olin Academic Center, including the machine shop, robotics labs, the
Materials lab, and many other areas of interest. It was a great experience
for the teams, and many thanks go to our hosts - Simon, Eric and Mikel.
We hope to be able to work with Olin in upcoming seasons, in meeting the
challenge of FIRST!
