Hanging!

Our four-wheel, four motor chassis named "Lassie the Chassis" is run in competition by FIRST Vex Team 44, Sharon Eagle Robotics AngelBots.  It was designed to be light, so that the arm allows it to hang from the bar well.  It has been built narrow enough to make it's way up the ramp, past the fixed goal.

The robot has the gearing on each side to keep wheels synchronized together, and has two motors on the elbow of the arm to allow sufficient torque for lifting the robot's weight to hang from the bar.
